The 21 Day Prayer Challenge

For the last month I've been on a journey of deeper personal development. It has been emotional, challenging, refreshing, and exactly what I needed! I set my mind on receiving a breakthrough before I even started the prayer challenge and that's exactly what I received. For the first time in my life I was not apprehensive going into something new and it felt GOOD!

The beginning of the challenge was almost a breeze and I felt that I had this thing on lock! I mean I trusted God totally with the challenge and I had no doubts about myself. The assignments were ones that I could handle with faith and grace. I was truly on heavenly cloud nine. Life wasn't pressuring me, it was easy to stick to the challenge, and my quiet time was deep!

The mid point of the challenge came and guess who showed up? Yea, the devil. Things got very challenging for me spiritually, emotionally, and physically. The assignments in the challenge got a little harder and a little bit more personal. My comfort zone started to be tampered with and I was mind blown. I was trying to figure out how I could be on a mission to do better and all of the things suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks. I PRAYED HARDER! I CASTED THE DEVIL OUT! I FOUGHT GUYS!! Like I have never fought before! With the word of God. I put my big girl pants on, put my gloves on, and I got in the ring and knocked the devil out!!

The end was easy because I fought when it was hardest to fight. My last few days of the challenge were the easiest days because I set the atmosphere to "WIN". The Lord gave me strength I never knew I had during the last part of this challenge. Had I relied on my own strength I would have given up!

Doing this challenge has taught me that prayer is essential, prayer changes things, to pray is to be obedient, and prayer is our strongest weapon. My spirit has become more sensitive to hearing from the Holy Spirit and now I rely on that to totally guide my life. I am grateful for all that I experienced in those 21 days because now I know that the process is necessary!

I thank God for leading me to the resource so now I will share it with you all! Woman of Purpose is one of the ministries that I have found to be a help to my growth. Here is the link to the prayer challenge that I just completed, I pray you grow in Christ and love.
